Welcome

Though most of this blog contains pictures, it's also a detailed account of my life living with three boys. And yes, they are all boys. Hope you enjoy... they're pretty cute (but often smell).

Sunday NightFootball

My two boys watching football. This is one of the 6 hours Cole was awake today. Either he's battling a cold or a major growth spurt.

8 Months (a little late)

Photobucket
(poor bear doesn't stand a chance anymore)

I've been meaning to post these pictures for a while now but somehow life got in the way. Funny how that happens! :)

Cole turned 8 months on 8/13. This past month has been crazy with developments and changes... all on his end:
He's crawling on all fours and can really motor
He loves to pull himself up whenever he gets the chance
Has four teeth - two on top and two on the bottom
He's rediscovered his voice as well as this growling sound... very funny
He's still wearing size four diapers
Is rocking 18 month/2T clothes (mostly)
Eats three meals a day (baby food) and then 4 bottles - I'm trying to start more solid foods but my fear of him choking takes over... this kid is going to eat purees until he's 18!
Goes to bed around 7:30pm and sleeps straight until around 6:30am
Typically takes two naps a day - one long in the morning and a shorter one in the afternoon
Loves to make noise - banging toys on other toys, shaking rattles, you name it
Is a thrill seeker - likes to get tossed around in the air, go upside down, twirl... I'm nervous
Loves to wrestle but also loves to cuddle - when it gets close to bed time he wants to snuggle up and does NOT like being put down
Loves dogs - has zero fear around them
Has a few girls' eyes at daycare - every morning I'm greeted with joyous cries of "baby Cole!"
Loves water but is not a fan of the waves at the lake
Knows what he wants and will get it - you can try to hide it, but up a barrier - doesn't matter, he'll get it
Thinks he's bigger than he is... at least that what daycare says every time we have to sign an incident report for him taking a tumble

And now for some pictures - enjoy!

Showing off his crawling skills... on the chair
